it's been a while. i think i'm going to start using this more. i havnt really done anything creative this whole summer. i have a few rolls of film to develop, but i really just cant seem to get in the mood to create things. i havnt even touched my jewelry stuff. its a little disheartening. so i've been trying to get inspired by browsing the interwebs. these are just some things i've found recently.

the show went great. we all had so much fun!

another sneak peek! so some girls in my class and i rented a gallery space on the busiest street in downtown savannah! the show is next friday, the 22nd. in other words, really soon. we've been rushing to get everything together, but i think it's going to turn out fantastic. i am so excited.

so I've been working on a body of work in my Project Seminar class for the past 5 weeks now. I'm really liking this class because I can really concentrate on what I'm doing and why I'm doing it. I think I am going to title the series "ambivalence". This is just one of the images, so far I have about 7 definites and am still shooting a lot and editing a lot out.

the reception for the Silver & Ink show was tonight. I got to see my photos up on a wall in an exhibition. It was really exciting! I took photos of them up there so you all could see :]

I just turned this in today. It's my second 3D project. We had to create something you could wear. So obviously, I chose something too difficult haha. I look terrible in this photo, and that would be because I had been working on it straight for 11 hours. It was 2am when I took this, I believe. Anywho, critique went okay I think. We'll see.

So two of my photos are going to be in SCAD's Silver & Ink exhibition later this month. I'm pretty exciiited.

this is a drypoint etching on a copper plate I did for my printmaking class.

this is my Color Technique photo final. the image quality isnt so great on here, so sorry. but anywho. I did duel portraits of 5 people, one of them as themselves and the other as the opposite gender. the idea was for the viewer to question what they think is real.
